There is a reason manager seldomly get headhunted, they’re just not that good. ![]() Two main reasons for those long hours: most teams are severely understaffed (got to keep those margins high, baby) + the intense turnover makes things really hard to manage (top management do not care, it doesn’t affect them) + there is a culture of grinding and presenteeism which makes people work inefficiently or just sloppily There is a reason most people from numberly are dating people from numberly, because they can’t have a life outside of the company. Except managers, most of whom are just not good (more on that later) Extremely low starting salary, low refresher too, so the longer you stay, the further you’ll be from what you could get on the market. Why you may ask? Well that leads us to the other points (*) because the turnover is insane ! I’m talking hundreds of interns per year (for like 300 emp, not even sure if legal) + 60-65 LTC quitting every year. ![]()
